Well I think it's funny.

That situation is a mess, I really hope Japan can come out of this unscathed but I have my doubts and it doesn't look good for the reactor or reactors.

CNN has a headline saying that the chief cabinet secretary is assuming that a meltdown is happening.

:shakehead:

Not good.... What are the realistic predictions of something like that?

Most likely it is happening

But it will be a meltdown, not an explosion. In other words: It will be the Japanese equivalent of 3 Mile Island.

From http://blogs.aljazeera.net/live/asia/japans-twin-disasters-march-13-live-blog's blog covering this:

NHK television quotes a police chief as saying more than 10,000 are feared dead in Miyagi. Our correspondenton the ground said earlier that the same number of people were unaccounted for. Some buildings in the area were moved 3km by the tsunami.

No kidding. This country is on the opposite side of the planet, but still there are people panicking over it, more so than the japanese themselves. Iodine tablets have been sold out in some places here

I was more on about how some people think its "karma" for pearl harbour. They sicken me.

Well I think it's funny.

I agree, for some humor is a way of coping, and if you can laugh well it does tend to make things better imo, allthough there is an issue of where and when.

The Chernobyl plant had more problems before disaster struck, the Japan one seems to be better maintained. I doubt it's going to be that dramatic in Japan.

We won't be seeing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. the JRPG.

I heard about a possible meltdown at the 3rd reactor. They're doing their best to keep it cool though and so far it's getting cooler.
Why are so many Americans [censored]ing about Pearl Harbor now? I mean, it was they who dropped the bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I hate it when people do that. They're all sick!

Its not just Americans, I went to check it, and saw people on FB saying it. I am Wales, the dude was Welsh (with a bit of Irish) no relations to America at all.
People are just [censored]s.

Damn. I would have thought that nuking the [censored] out of them in 1945 was payback enough. I doubt any of those sick bastards were even born yet when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

Holy crap. Holy crap. I don't... I just... how... how does one even become that stupid?

I'd say Hiroshima and Nagasaki kinda, y'know, "made up" for Pearl Harbor, don't you think? Dear god humanity
