Easiestbest ways to grind combat skills?

Post » Thu Jul 24, 2014 2:59 am

So, what's the best, easiest, or most readily available ways to grind combat skill experience? I want to get a fresh start on my character skill-wise but had already made a few skills Legendary before coming to this conclusion. So right now I want to get the other skills up too 100 from mid-80s range. I don't have access to a lot of money depite my high level (I have no idea how people get so much gold) so trainers are out of the question. Is there any alternative to simply finding some rather hefty enemy and wailing on them then healing your foe?

Conjuration....

Summon targets to kills, you'll level conjuration as well as your chosen combat skills (and armor skills if they hit you)

Fastest way to up armor skills is to turn the difficulty down low, suit up, and get a bunch of fast hitting enemies to pound on you for a while.

My preferred way to up offensive skills is to set it to legendary and go to town on bears with my choice non-upgraded weapon, and every now and then pause to heal them with a spell. Helps your restoration too.

Find a frost troll. They regenerate health, so you can drag out a fight with a troll for a very long time if you're careful.

Block would be the easiest skill to level up against a troll.

If you're interested in making money and have Hearthfire, salmon roe (use Unrelenting Force on swimming salmon to get the roe, there's usually 12 in that inlet at Dawnstar which respawn frequently) + chicken egg/nordic barnacle + garlic produces a very profitable potion at low levels or no investment; I think at full investment with all the gear, Seeker of Shadows and being a Necromage vampire I made one valued at 18000+. Then use that money to pay for trainers - works even better if said trainers are merchants and you have the Merchant perk.
