In every weekend beta the servers were up hours before the announced time and only few people noticed, and then the rush started around the announced time. I will be checking the servers starting at 5am EDT.

I have to work tonight till 10pm central time, then I will try (and probably fail) to get some sleep before waking at 5am to get ready to log in at 6am. After that I will not see the sun for a few days.

Yes, but someone said NWN was before MMOs, which is incorrect.

Guess my post lacked a little in context.

A.) You guys knew what he meant.

B.) "Toons" predates WoW by several years and is now a common MMO term.

Yeah same here, its not about names.. its about a lust for playing.

I'll probably start logging on every few minutes around 4-5am .

Looking forward to getting started at 0700 EDT. The quicker I can get in, the quicker I can get to where I can kill characters with my toon. :starwars:

What's wrong with the term "toons"? It's a pretty common nomenclature in MMOs.

The term "toons" isn't a WoW thing. It's a term that has been utilized in MMO's long before WoW ever came into existence.

herpes is pretty common too. doesn't make it a good thing.

EVERYTHING is wrong with it. it makes you look like a foolish child, it disrespects your characters and the time you put into them, and really just kinda insults the game overall.

honestly it is just an obnoxious term that should be left in the same dustbin as "inbox me", and people saying "hashtag" out loud.

It depends. If I don't end up going out tomorrow, then yes I may very well wake up early just to get going on it, and possibly take a nap later in the day if I feel the need to. I'm not super excited for the game, but I do want to get started with my early access, and I don't sleep very much anyways, so why the heck not?

Is this timer right? D; , it's implying there's an hour less of waiting. (9 hours and a half from now (20:30 PM EDT)).
