Am I the only one that finds playing on Easy is incredibly difficult when you are playing alone? I'm not an FPS moron or anything either but my gosh the friendly AI is absolute crap. I regularly run into walls of 6+ defenders without ever seeing a friendly coming to help at the objective. What it be so bad is setting the difficulty to Easy made it *gasp* easy to win? I am fine with giving me a hard time on Normal or especially on Hard but why demonstrate that you purposely programmed idiot bots for the first half of the match on Easy? This is just another example of how misguided some of SD's chioces with Brink have been. Fun game but it feels more like a 360 beta than a $60 retail game.

EDIT: I guess I should note that I went through the Resistance campaign with another friend last night and didn't have any trouble. It is sad when a second player makes all the difference in completing objectives when 7 AI bots can't do anything.

I try to solo the challenges
surprisingly the one that has you rely on a team is the one that keeps grinding me to a pulp on 2*
Even completing objectives on my own woudn't be so hard if my team would properly take positions and defend me.
It's always the Operative or Engineer challenge that gets me.

No, you're not alone in thinking that "Easy" is a horrible, vicious, contemptible lie.

From what I understand the bots are going to be tweaked, but taking a friend into the challenges only make the opposing bots that much more rabid. You do need somebody competent watching your back for engineering, hacking, and charge setting missions.

All about the Bots! Once you level up enemys get much harder but your team stays as stupid as could be. Not often I have seen such bad AI
