Eating Animation : V

Bethesda BETTER put an eating animation in Skyrim. Wouldn't it add so much to immersion if you could see the crumbs on your beard? :cake:

This would be great. I hope food and drink play a larger role in the game than they have in previous ones. The animations would be the icing on the cake.

Well we already had it for NPC's in Oblivion, but I'd really like to see the PC have the same animations.

Hopefully eating food does more than just regen health. They should knock off food buffs/recipes from wow, so that you get an attribute/resistance bonus for eating x type of food/drink.

They could do it like FO sort of where food gives you health over time, and you had to be out of combat to eat. Potions would instantly heal you but if you had some food, It would be nice to just refill that last bit of your health in a tavern.

Also, I hope that food is not so much of an alchemy ingredient anymore.. you should be MAKING the food, not putting food into potions..?

Agreed. That's why I asked. New or better animations for NPCs, sure. For the PC, just the little "gulping" noise will suffice. I've got killing to do, and I don't need to be interrupted with nonsense like eating!

Let NPCs actually use their silverware! I don't know how you pick out pieces of venison with Daedric gauntlets on. :shrug:

I think it should be optional, I don't want to sit there and have to watch my character eat a whole loaf of bread slowly everytime I eat (assuming it would be the same length as the NPCs eating time in OB).

well you dont have to sit there, you could have a sword in one hand and an apple in the other, and youre fighting while your eating apples, cool as a fool in a swimming pool . . . orr you dont even have to eat the apple, you could have a cool finishing move where you stick the apple in the enemy's mouth and you pierce him with your sword like a pig on a spitroast, accompanied by a very cool line 'how do you like them apples?!'
