Eating Verulus is just wrong!

Ahhhhh hell no! Come on! Eating Verulus is just wrong - and nasty. Well, I'm at the part on Taste of Death (aka Verulus) where I'm being sent to lure him back to the cave where the cannibalism freak show is about to begin in full effect, however I'm getting real life nauseus just thinking about it. lol :yuck: I'm curious as to what decisions my friends here on the forum made, regarding this evil thang. In short: what did you do?

It's one thing to kill an evil orphanage leader that was being evil to children, but an entirely different matter to deceive then kill an innocent person so you can eat his flesh. OMG!

PS: The only 2 things you can't say on this thread:
1. "It's an acquired taste." and or
2. "It tastes like chicken."

OK, that's all. :) jk

I have three words for you.
Om.
Nom.
Nom.

(Shrug)
I've never really gotten why cannibalism disgusts most people so much, (the thing itself, not immorality thereof like mutiliating other people's dead beloved) and murdering the innocent is old hat for the only character I've got around to doing that quest with.

I usually leave Eola in the cave and never talk to Verulus.

There's a third option :

Spoiler

If you lure Verulus to the cave there's an opportunity to save him by attacking all the cannibals instead.

I'm an Argonian, so I don't really count it as cannibalism :P

Besides, in a survival situation, you'll be forced to eat dead corpses of whatever is around. Yes, humans included.

The Gaurds have a very unique Greating for the Chosen of Namira.
I have a few characters that have done the questline and recieved the Ring, because I thought My Daedric Quest getter was beyond recovery.
Eola is actually a very competent Follower, but She requires completing the Quest in favor of Namira.
The Ring will boost total Health and greatly increase Health regeneration from feeding on recently living characters, the effect is temporary.
Killing the Namira Worshippers can deplete the Merchants in the Reach.
Honestly, I understand the feeling about doing this particular Quest, Peryites Quest is worse for Me because of how His Afflicted perform Ranged Attacks :yuck: , but the Reward for the Peryite Quest is Spellbreaker.
