Dremoran Armor is made out of Ebony, which probably means there are Ebony mines in the Deadlands.

Now I may be misremembering but weren't Orcish arms and armours in Morrowind just made from a specially refined steel? Much like Skyforged stuff, but.. Orcforged stuff.
But they just pulled Orichalcum out of the Greek Mythologies? But even in there it was just a special copper, not some green stuff that only develops wherever Orcs live.

Orichalcium always existed. One of the Redguard hero-gods was the man who bought Orichalc weapons to the Yokudans, which was a significant edge in the war against the Left-Handed Elves.

To rule it out as falsehood would be to ignore the whole truth.

The Dunmer also believed that Vivec got his powers by doing good deeds, the Daedra are their ancestors, and that continuing to raid Black Marsh for slaves was a good idea.

I'm not saying they're necessarily wrong about ebony, but their beliefs are not infallible.

You know there is a reason they mention "earth bones" and stuff. Ebony could be everywhere because all of Nirn is made from the bodies of spirits that participated in creation and pseudo-died with their power greatly reduced.

Iirc Essentially everything on Nirn is Aedric in origin and daedric armor and such are basically the best/hardiest material from the Aedra(ebony) imbued with the power of the Daedra. So its the best of both worlds. I have no idea how the hell Daedra get their hand on Ebony. Maybe Daedric princes CAN just create it. They do have incredible power over their realms after all. Funny how madness ore can create armor and weapons better than "normal" daedric armor in Oblivion though lol.
