Ok I don't know if you call this a glitch but IMO something's not right. Wonder if anyone else encountered this.

I've complete all the main DG guests and probably all of the miscellaneous quests too. Except for killing the ebony warrior that is. I read posts about him appearing in the larger towns like Whiterun. So I dropped by Whiterun and Solitaire at different times of the day. I tried fast travel and also walking by foot. I went to every nook and cranny in both towns and I still can't find him. I'm on level 81 so I'm pretty certain he should appear but he's not. Maybe he's chicken.

Anyways, anyone else have this problem?

At what point in the DB questline is he supposed to show up? I'm fairly near the end of the MQ, and he hasn't shown up. What are the prerequisites, and reason for his appearance?

What he said and also you need to be a certain level. I believe it is level 80, if I'm not mistaken.

i got him at lvl 80 in whiterun

My bad. I meant DB. Anyway I went to Windhelm by chance & found him there. I guess he only appears in Windhelm? Thought he was some big bad SOB? Laughed my pants off when my fus ro dah sent him flying.

I got him at Whiterun at level 81. He was also with the Cultists.

He'll appear randomly in any major city once you reach lvl 80. Thats when I got him.
