So I just got the Ebony Warrior quest, and I met him at The Last Vigil. However, for some reason I just can't kill him. It's not that he's too hard, he will not die! I tried lowering the difficulty to novice, and it took 2 hits to "kill" him, but he just goes to the ground for a sec then gets back up! Once he gets back up, he puts his weapon away as if we are fighting anymore. He becomes unaggressive and if I attack him again, this process just repeats. I tried the consome command restartquest dlc2ebonywarriorquest, but it just completes the quest and leaves him there on the mountain. Is there any way to actually kill him at this point? HE MUST DIE!!! All help is appreciated, thank you guys!

Did you just try the kill command?

Are you using mods?

I haven't tried using the kill command and I would rather not. Such a honorable warrior deserves a fight to the death!

And yes I'm using mods.

Ahhh nevermind.... I guess I figured out what that "Are you essential?" dialogue option is all about lol.
