Edit existing NPC with Creation kit

Hi there,

I want to edit a lot of existing NPC's with CT but there is a problem .
When I double-click on an object in the cell in the Render window, and when reference window pop up some of the options below cant be checked or they are market but cannot be unmarked.For example I can't select Spawns , Essential or some of the other options. Almost every guard in the game is like this.
Does anyone know how to make this work? Thanks.

It's likely because those actors reference another actor as their template.

Check the "Template Data" section when editing in the Actor Window. You should be able to find it in the bottom left of the window, under the "Scripts" section.
