My edited mesh is invisible in first person

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:23 am

I just finished editing some vanilla clothing, and it displays fine in third person. But when I go in first person, the arms are invisible. It has normal maps and everything, since I did nothing to the default texture. Any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks in advance. :foodndrink:

perhaps you renamed the arms trishape to one of the flags that disables rendering in first person. nodes named "Upperbody", "Lowerbody", probably feet/foot, are not rendered in first person. Just rename it it to something else.

Actually I think its opposite. everything/anything renders in first person no matter what it's name is, except Upperbody, Lowerbody, Foot. Those are flagged to be disabled in first person.

oh!!!

also i found your item must also be in the hands slot and cannot be in the head slot to make them show.

Thank you everybody! I renamed the object to Arms:00 and it works fine now.
