edited some scripts, need to reverse the damage.

i thought any edits done while in the creationkit are saved to the ESP and the ESP only.

after playing around with scripts trying to learn how to use them properly and what works and what doesn't, i wanted to play a little. (with the ESPs disabled) and noticed that some of that edits that i did, actually sticked.

and i made a lot of edits to a lot of scripts, i forgot which, because i was just trying to learn and thought unchecking ESP will undo it.

i need help with

1) restoring to what they were originally

2) a way to play around without having to undo it all the time.

i'm sorry if this has already been answered, i tried to search but i couldn't find it being discussed anywhere.

thanks in advance.

The modified scripts are not stored in the esp, they are in the scripts folder that you'll find in the data files folder. The best way to completely restore your scripts folder is:

1) go to your scripts folder and remove all the .pex files that are in it,

2) run "verify integrity of game cache" in Steam. In Steam, "tools" look for "Creation Kit", right click on it, then "properties", then go to the "local files" tab, then "verify...".

There is no way you can "play around without having to undo it all the time".
