Basically, all I want to do is change the Destruction skill level of one of my companions, because they keep killing me with magic. I've read that all you have to do, is open up the console, with the ~ key, then click on the NPC, and type the code.

Well I've done EXACTLY that, and nothing is happening. I left click on my companion with the console open, and nothing happens. Right clicking allows my character to move and activate (spacebar) everything in game, but otherwise disables the console for use until I right click again.

Hopefully I'm just being a noob, and really I'll be the first to admit I am one, having just entered the Morrowind modding scene in the past month or so.

Also, the companion in question would be Gatanas, the Dremora. If I could get her I.D. even, then I would at least have something to type into the console.

Can't you just open his info up on the CS, and change it? That's what I do.

I've done exactly, ~ SetDestruction 10 without any results.

How do I pull information when I cant click on anyting with the console open? That's the part I'm confused about...I know I must be doing something wrong, but what? Console open, click on NPC, and nothing...

I knew it was something simple that I was missing; I just wasn't clicking my companion OUTSIDE the console command box. *FACEPALM*

God I'm out of it. I thought the title said "Eating a Companion." Well, it is getting to be like 3 AM...

I wish I could help, but I thought my funny little title confusion was worth sharing. ^^

Note that her destruction skill may reset when you rest, so you may have to type that code in again. If it does, you can always find and edit her leveling script in the CS and comment out anything pertaining to her destruction skill. Ask Princess Stomper for help with that.
