Elder Maxson in future Fallouts

Post » Sun Dec 06, 2015 5:15 pm

Yes, yes I do. Especially since the game seems deliberately set up to make sure the BoS' crusade is derailed at the end of events.

Also, he's probably not the last Maxson.

The BoS are all about the bloodlines and 20 is old enough to have a child or two.

You keep saying that like you think that the more you say it, the more true it will be.

Maxson says he's the last in 3.

you realize he's 20 in F4 right

You realize I typed he was twenty and that is old enough for a kid or two in the bloodline-obsessed BOS, right?

And the biography isn't done yet, obviously.

Could be he's got a pregnant wife back home. Or maybe Bethesda's waiting until they need Elder Maxson to have a child before establishing anything.

Man, I wonder what the Capital Wasteland is like now under the rule of the Brotherhood. I really need to do their questline in 4 to learn more stuff... but they're so dikeish.

They don't talk much about it. What little is said is basically...

"Li expected we'd up and leave our gains once the Enclave was defeated. We didn't."

Lines referring to it:

1. Megaton has expanded tremendously in recent years (BoS dialogue)

2. The Children of the Atom were purged by the BoS for being "degenerates" but have spread to other lands (Children of the Atom talk)

3. The Pitt is supplying ammo for the BoS (BoS dialogue)

MacCready implies that it was really hard for him to succeed as a merc in the Capital Wasteland with the Brotherhood of Steel running the show... actually, it seems like no one in the Commonwealth that actually knows about the Brotherhood of Steel has a very high opinion of them.

Maybe they've become more like the Midwestern Brotherhood, and are acting sort of like an authoritarian regime in the Capital Wasteland.

Wait, number 3

I don't remember that even being an option in the expansion. Wasn't usher or whatever his name was mad at the bos for leaving him to die?

>hancock and maccready being mad about authoritarianism

Ashur didn't blame the Brotherhood of Steel for leaving him to die. He blamed the Brotherhood of Steel for not helping Wastelanders by sharing their technology.

And it wouldn't matter because I put a bullet in the Slaver's head and took over the Pitt myself.

But presumably, whoever is the Lord of the Pitt has made peace with the BoS since then.

I didn't know you could assume direct control.

Huh.

It's like one line.

You say, "I am now Lord of the Pitt."

Werner goes, "Okay. Sure, Boss."

I get the impression after a few years as a slave, being No. #2 isn't something he'll mind this time around.
