Indeed, there have been a lot of claims about the Elder Scrolls V being in the works in the time we've waited for news on it, and at this point. you can't expect us to just take another one as fact without proof of it. As much as I'd like to believe that it's really been confirmed that we'll see another Elder Scrolls game after all this time of wanting one and not getting any news of it, I'm not willing to get excited just yet. Until an official announcement by Bethesda is made through a credible source, I think it's safer to assume any supposed news of the Elder Scrolls V is wrong until proven true.

Once again, I'd like to believe that the Elder Scrolls V is in the works, and I don't even believe that we won't see another game in the series, really, but I won't trust any supposed "announcements" on the matter unless I know they're credible.

I'm in 100% agreement with this. Until it's actually confirmed by Bethesda themselves, I'm not going to believe it. First of all, because this article sounds like "my grandmother heard from her friend whose father was the owner of a dog whose breeder worked at Bethesda 20 years ago" to me. It's just not confirmable and it's not credible because it doesn't come from Bethesda in any way. Second of all, pessimists are never disappointed. And I don't want to be disappointed.
