When you start the game, you get to choose one of the 10 main races again from Tamriel. Your character lost all her/his memories during a storm while sailing here and you were saved by the Tang Mo while you were unconscious. To repay the monkey folks, your gonna help them defend against a major attack by the Kamal. After you had successfully defended the city, the chief tang mo tells you about a huge war going on between the Ka'Po'Tun and the Tsaesci. You have to choose your destiny by helping one of these sides or none but before you leave, the chief tang mo gave you your lost equipments and told you they found these on your destroyed boat. The items are Trueflame, Hopefires, and a ring called Moon-and-Star.
