Elder Scrolls Anthology, Skyrim

I have the Elder Scrolls Anthology. I have been loading all to make sure there are no problems. All loaded fine except for Skyrim. When the DVD tries to read the disc, it makes some noise and then stops without offering to run the executable or open the root directory. I'm wondering if it is a hardware issue on my side or a problem with the disc. I checked requirements - I'm running Windows 7 with 6 GB RAM and an i5 processor at 2.5 GHz. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Skyrim requires Steam. Can you launch the exe manually? It should install Steam first then SKyrim. Steam will have to update itself so an Internet connection is required.

You will also have to create a Steam account.
