What's the point considering we don't even know if there'll ever BE an Elder Scrolls 6 yet?

Because the only reason there wouldn't be one would be if Bethesda Softworks were to be shut down for tax evasion or some such. Each game has been more popular than the last and the developers have created a universe with plenty more to tell.

That said, it's hell of a broad topic for fan art.

So what exactly would qualify as "TES VI" fan art? Since the hypothetical sixth main installment could take place in any of the provinces that have not been adequately explored in main series games, fan art could range from box art, to art pieces depicting any of the other provinces, to perhaps concept art from popular mods featuring these provinces.

Here is an example: http://ilsagace.deviantart.com/art/The-Elder-Scrolls-VI-Skraeling-407319117. No real basis in lore, but still, an interesting piece. Inspired by the recent discoveries of Viking colonisation of North Africa, this piece hints at a similar situation, Nords discovering some new land and building prosperous cities, but still at conflict with the Skraeling - a name given by the Vikings to the North American native people. Here is http://ilsagace.deviantart.com/art/The-Elder-Scrolls-VI-Skraeling-Skinwalkers-407320388. Honestly, the two pieces remind me both of Roscrea, and the scenario could serve as an interesting expansion or spin off title, and Valenwood, due to things like the Skinwalker and the idea of forest-dwelling natives, excelling in archery, fiercely independent of foreign opression, be it Colovian from across the Strid, or Khajiit, from across the Xylo, or Aldmeri, from across the Blue Divide.
