Horses have been confirmed. Although I have not seen any official news regarding horse armor in the base game. Would people like to see the return of a horse armor expansion? or did you find horse armor to be a rip off in OB? I honestly liked it because I only used horses when I needed a meat shield in combat and it made them a stronger ally. I also hope horses fight enemies alongside you in Skyrim. My only complaint was the price. If they make a ES5 horse armor mod it really should be free, or just 25 cents or something.

Horse armor didn't provide any protection to your horse. It was just for looks.

I'd rather not see it make a return.

I doubt it will be in the game. Although it would be cool, and even cooler if it made you get less damage while riding a horse.
