After seeing that link, I like it. I got to try a lego game, saw a few demos on the PSN.

I don't think TES is iconic enough to make into a LEGO game...

As much as I love TES dearly, I agree with this.
None of my friends have ever heard of TES (well, like 2 of them have...).

And it isn't as simple as changing textures, there are other changes as well.
I played the demo for Lego: Indiana Jones, and from that, I would expect Lego games to work better with linear style games (we all know what the major fan's reactions would be to that... :ahhh: ).
It might work good with open ended gameplay, I really don't know...

And it is also just different. I can't explain, its just different. Look up gameplay, or play a demo of it.

If it was done right, then it would be cool.

I don't want a TES Lego game (they got stale after the second Lego Star Wars game), but rather actual lego TES, as in the real blocks. Would be much better than a game in my opinion.

Well, I can actually say that I would buy just about anything Elderscrolls at this point... I am a freaking TES addict... I am still playing Oblivion... but you know what, so are a ton of you... and you read the novel too... we are junkies and Todd knows it... they could crap our a TES sticker book with three colored crayons at this point and I'd probably buy two of them. I want TESV so bad that I might actually accept that it is an MMO Lego version with Will Farrell voicing the Nords, and as much as that would mess my world up, I might just actually shell out the greenbacks for it...

One of my "other" hobbies, when I'm not playing Morrowind, is building up castles, houses, and other structures using Hirst Arts plaster blocks. The guy sells silicone rubber molds, and you pour liquid plaster into them to make architectural elements, modular dungeons, and other neat stuff. I've been working on carving and making a mold for a couple of custom pieces to do an "Imperial City" style structure for 28mm size miniature gaming. **IF** I ever finish carving the pieces, it would still take a year or two of casting and assembly to make anything even vaguely resembling the IC in a large enough size just to convey the "impression" of the video game setting (probably ONE district covering a 3'X6' table). At the price of LEGOs, that would be absurd to even attempt. With plaster at around $30-40 for a 100 pound bag, it might be feasable in that respect.

You know what...that sounds awesome.

I like the Lego games, the gameplay is solid and all the nostalgia brings back memories. I'm not sure why everyone has a brick up their ass about lego games (you heard me...).

i wouldn't play it because it looks kind of childish and wouldn't have the elements to be an TES game but it is a good idea :P

I really don't see the meaning of making Lego games, except moneys sake. I really think it's pathetic making money from such things.

If they make money. It's 'cause people want it. A small minority of the targeted audience (as in me) is over 8.

Lego Elder Scrolls would be adorable, but why does it have to be one of those video games? Real world legos are so much more fun and creative. Like that website linked to a couple of times. That was just too cute!

I'd rather have Lego COD. I don't think this would work.

you guys aren't visionaries like porridge :(

If a lego video game could possibly be as fun as building with them, and the dev studio was in their A-game, they would have my money.

Umm, I don't like the idea... AT ALL... It seems to me, like people have gotten bored waiting for TESV to come out, so you people say: MAKE A TES LEGO! Sorry, but it's just you people being over-imaginitive, and bored.
