That actually is an interesting concept: how we save. I'm
always overwriting. Actually, here's how I do it in Oblivion:
I usually make a save just after creating my character, and keeping that save.
Nowadays, my second save will be just before exiting the sewers, assuming this is a character that did the Tutorial. I keep this save, too.
I'll keep the very last save from Level 1.
From then on, I sometimes will "save" some saves forever (at a super-epic moment, if I want to relive it later).
...but otherwise, I'll usually have two saves going at the very top of the list. These are always my most current saves. They fluctuate from 1st to 2nd place, up and down, as I overwrite them. I figure if my game freezes or glitches out, I now have
two options for saves which are both fairly recent. This is just in case one of them happens to not load up for some reason.
I read that on the PS3, we're not supposed to have too many saves. It can slow the game down...and I'm pretty sure this has something to do with the A-bomb showing up in a couple of my games.
Way to hi-jack a thread, Renee.
