DISCLAIMER: Fayetteville Thursday gaming group, stop right here and don't read any further!
Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to start by saying that I'm part of a regularly-meeting group of fun-loving tabletop gamers. We're just getting off of a wonderful Fallout-inspired tabletop game, and I'm getting ready to start up an Elder Scrolls game based off of Pathfinder's rules.
As a DM/ST, I know that one important aspect of setting things up is being able to bounce ideas off of other people; unfortunately, the only other person I know who's well-versed in TES lore is one of my players. I can't quite spill my metaplot ideas to him for suggestions, as it would quite possibly ruin his sense of discovery and adventure in the game!
I was wondering, how interested would people be in discussing my ideas/plans/plot for this? I'd love suggestions for new things, or constructive criticism of what I've already thought up and planned. Ideas on working the Pathfinder rules to adapt to the Elder Scrolls setting would be useful, though I'm keeping the alteration of the rules at a minimum: several of my players are new to Pathfinder AND TES, so I want houserules to be as rare as possible.
Who's up for vicariously DMing and playing?
Edit: I should point out that H_Koala also appears to be attempting to convert TES to a tabletop setting. Go, you!
