No elder scrolls V reaction

just continue on playing modded Oblivion. I haven't even tried out the ones that are in different areas of Tamriel yet, such as the deserts of anequina (Elsweyr).

I'd fart... with disappointment and utter despair. This fart will grow - slowly at first - but its growth will be exponential to the point where it takes on a life of its own. It will move down and cover all of Maryland until Bethesda makes TESV or moves somewhere else.

I'd probably play whatever new game Bethesda came out with instead of TES:V

Dunno. Went through this with SnowBlind Studios when I asked about further Norrath games, and while they listened, they went in the direction of comic book heroes and lost my interest (read $) altogether.

Judging from the over 3000 plus mods for Morrowind alone, and the steadily growing number of mods for Oblivion, I think I'd have enough to keep me going for another 50 years or so.

Be crushed. Bethesda is the only group that has not done something stupid in recent years. Without another TES game, that would be it. I probably wouldn't buy games anymore.

The same thing I'm doing now as I have gave up all hope of there ever being a TES5 anyways; I play a lot of Halo and have started a new character in Oblivion.

I'd be pretty crushed. But at this point, with no announcement at all, I don't think it'd bother me as much. I'm kinda "bleh" about it anymore because I don't see any announcement in the near future anyway.

I would play other games like RPG's from Bioware and Piranha Bytes, Diablo 3, RDR, Stalker series etc. and of course Oblivion with a lot of mods.

Donate the money I would've spent on the game to Morrowind modders.

Good idea!

Give me a finished Open Source engine replacer, the 7 full Tamriel Rebuilt maps and Connary's texture compendium and I wouldn't care about TES V at all! :)

Check on the progress being made on DaggerXL even more frequently. :D

That too, it's going to be great when it's done.

Engine replacers for past TES games are the future!

Personally, I would never buy a gamesas, or Zenimax product again. I did it with other companies that dropped their own franchises for other peoples IPs, I guess I'd do it with Bethesda.

I'm a bit of a cynic when it comes to the topic nowadays though. I felt TES fans got the short end of the stick, like how your old dog (TES) feels when you bring a new puppy (Fallout 3) home.

I'd write a heartfelt letter to Bethesda, explaining to them how much fun and entertainment TES has brought to so many. I'd ask them to reconsider, but make it clear that I respect their decision.

Then I'd sigh, load up my Bosmer mother with two children and tell them that there's no future for them in the country to the north and that Skyrim has been destroyed by the Frost Daedra.

My Skyrim character was going to be one of the family's descendants.

:sadvaultboy:

Then I'd move on, probably play Oblivion for a while, but then give up on playing it because I'd realize there would be no more stories, characters, worlds, and history to be added in this world that was my imaginary home every once in a while.

Be mad. Unless Elder Scrolls 5 is like Oblivion then I would rather not have a Elder Scrolls 5.

I would buy the Elder Scrolls franchise and get a group of developers to make more.

Or, I would be very sad for many years, realizing that the greatest games of our time are gone.
