what would you do if you found out that there was no elder scrolls V?

Play Guild Wars 2. (I'd still play it even if it was announced)

I wouldn't care anymore.

Donate the money I would've spent on the game to Morrowind modders.

Buy more BioWare/Valve games.

I would cry and jump off of Dive Rock.

I would be very upset. There will be one though.

I would wonder why the world ended in fiery destruction because that is the only way Bethesda would ever stop milking the TES cash cow.

I would say something to the effect of, "Oh well." And then continue playing other great games.

I'd probably upgrade my computer for the first time in years so it could actually run Oblivion, and then I would install OOO.

I'd probably walk over to Bethesda headquarters with a scythe and freaking reap souls. But I have faith.

I'd probably be very displeased, and confused as to why Bethesda would abandon the Elder Scrolls series when it's clear that there's still demand for it and there's still room to try new things. I might post on the forums about how displeased I am, then I'd probably stop bothering with the Elder Scrolls Series General Discussion and instead go and talk about whatever the next Fallout game will be if one is in development at the time. I'd also play other games.

I would be surprised and displeased if there was to be no future Elder Scrolls games, but it's not like there aren't other games I want to play, I'd survive.

I would be in denial for years, even while loudly complaining about it on my blog.

It seems like their isn't. I've already given up hope. Sure there will probably will be but right now the way it looks it wont be for a few years.



Getting excited for TES: 5 is like getting excited for a PS4 or Xbox 720. Pointless until announced.

I don't think the question here is how we're handing what looks like a delay.. I think the question is how would we feel if Bethesda flat-out stated they're not going to do TES 5 at all. I really doubt they'd ever say such a thing, no matter what their plans are. Even if they don't want to do another TES for the moment, they don't want to damage any potential customer base by saying such things, 'cause they might want to dust it off and do more in the future.

Considering how they re-vamed their development strategy when making Oblivion, then tweaked it again with Fallout 3, I think they're just delaying to see how well everything works before making plans on trying to improve it. Who knows, though. Until they make any statement, there's not much point in any speculation or debate. Bethesda does too good a job of dancing around the flaming bush lol.

I'd be all :stare: and just go back to The Orange Box..

I would just stop living. Or start playing other games.
