Elder Scrolls Series vs. Elder Scrolls Online

Post » Thu Sep 19, 2013 3:33 am

I have recently been looking into The Elder Scrolls Online. I haven't been to interested in it, well...until now. Originally the idea of no player housing at launch was, and kinda still is, a deal breaker. I however, like everything else I have seen. Want to research it more. However, I've been playing Elder Scrolls sense Arena. I even have played the NGage games and Battlespire / Redguard. I have a deep passion and love for it's stories and the worlds Bethesda has built.

What do think is going to happen with the Elder Scrolls once Online launches?

Will Online shape the series games like Elder Scrolls Vl? Will they be totally separate entities?

I'm kinda nervous and excited at the same time. Kinda curious on the community thoughts.

What's the latest gossip?

The Elder Scrolls Online will have no real effect on the TES single player experience, except that it may enhance/add lore. As for what I think will happen, well I think it'll be pretty sweet. You'll have a lot of purists who hate it and a lot of people who like it.

Personally, $15 a month is a lot of video game money for me to commit so I'm not completely sold yet.
