Elder Scrolls Series Questions!

Is there just Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim? I know Oblivion and Skyrim is for the 360, but is Morrowind as well? I've only played Skyrim but I'd like to give the others a try as well:)

Arena is the first game and Daggerfall is the second. They are only on PC and can only be played on DosBox. Morrowind is # 3.

Morrowind is an original X-Box game but is backwards compatible with the 360. Dos Box is the version you have to use to be able to download Arena and Daggerfall correctly to play. The down load is free. Here are the links

[don't link to a pirated version of Arena]

To play on a 360 you need to download a patch I think from the market to allow you to play original X-Box games. I really do not know. I have an old X-Box I play it on and play Oblivion and Skyrim on a PS3. I also have a PC (kinda) and like that version of Morrowind more.

You buy Morrowind for the original Xbox, and then put in that disc into the 360. But I really recommend buying the PC version instead.

I agree. If i had the hardware, I would. The mod community at this point almost makes buying the PC version the only smart choice, you'd be an idiot not to ;)

Is that safe to be able to play original Xbox games on the 360? It's just not meant to be able to do that, ya know? I'd play on the PC but I d t really have a computer for that! Both are already slow enough, I just basically use the iPad now, lol. I guess I could just play it on the original Xbox if I really wanted to, I'm sure it's really cheap!

Yes you can. Although, it plays better on an original X-Box

its all safe, but do check if the version is compatible, not all original xbox games are
I would recommend getting the PC version, you don't need much of a system to run it and you will have easy access to the expansion packs, I do belive you will have a hard time finding a copy of the Xbox version as well, you will have to buy it over Ebay or amazone. on the PC all you need is steam.
oh and do give the older games a try, the link http://www.gamesas.com/user/789499-sonofsithis/ posted are a great start

Just a breakdown of the series.
TES: Arena (Available for free from the gamesas webstie, requires DosBox to run on PCs.)
TES II: Daggerfall (Available for free from the gamesas website, requires DosBox to run on PCs)
Battlespire (Not available- might get a copy from E-bay. Likely requires DosBox to run on PCs)
Redguard (Not available- might get a copy from E-bay. Likely requires DosBox to run on PCs)
TES III: Morrowind (Available for PCs and Xbox. Supported by 360. Recommend for PC. It was cutting edge in 2002, should run on any computer made since then)
TES IV: Oblivion (Available for PCs, 360, and PS3.)
TES V: Skyrim (Available for PCs, 360, and PS3.)
