Elder scrolls 5: skyrim demo

I have to disagree. Getting a character creator is useless if you don't know what all the character attributes do in the game, and how useful combinations of skills are, and....

If you're only concerned with what your avatar looks like, then maybe this isn't the right game for you.

yeah but it still svcks when you get to level 10 and realize your character looks dumb. plus its a role playing game, and that pretty much by definition is a game where someone plays the role of someone with a better, more interesting or exciting life than them. and that usually means role playing as a studmuffin since we all know gamers are ugly, fat, and have neck beards (kidding  but you get my point)

plus what harm could come of a character creator if all it is is cosmetic since we don't have to pick classes this time around?

I don't think a demo will come out,but I think the best way for a demo would be to include the first dungeon/mission which contains the tutorial.
For example I think that for Oblivion a demo that ends when you exit the sewers would be very nice.

What a teaser that would be. Fighting through the dark dungeon, finally seeing the passage that leads outside... I can see the light... Open the steel door... DEMO ENDS HERE.

And then you get a slideshow of the in-game screenshots with the message "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim coming soon!" (a throwback to the '90s demos)

make a character finish wake up in game sheogorath says "Ready now to start your adventure? Go fetch me a cheese slice"

Fix'd :P

I think instead of bethesda making an demo for fans to play before the New elder Scrolls is released, they should bring out the full version of the character creator.
That instead of the first hour or 2 making a character, you can just load one up from your hard drive and start playing.

Nice idea. I spend so much time creating characters that it would probably keep me playing with it for hours

Demos are for games that don't know they are already a hit before they are made. Skyrim is already an international bestseller. I know it. You know it. And Bethesda knows it.

Who needs to waste time on a demo after that?

(I like the idea, I wish that it was in the works, but I sadly doubt it.)

Nice again, its not a DEMO PITCH it is a release early pitch. If there was a hooked on phonics feature would it help everyone understand that this is not about a demo. And no i don't mean everyone some of you actually understand what is going on.The others are still talking about demos. This is about, if Bethesda release the character creator early . That if you wanted to make your character fully and spend time on it you can. This in no way would spoil any part of the game, and yes i know after saying that someone will say it is going to spoil the character creator. Then i would say that they are probably going to explain the character creating system and what all you can do anyway so what would be the point in holding back something that could help some of the people playing the game, jump right into the game. Instead of making a character for the first 2- 3 hours , you can get right to game play. Again NOT A DEMO, in no way am i asking for a demo. I am asking for them to release the character creator early, like 2 weeks early, so can jump right into the game as soon as we get it. And again NOT A DEMO. Yes i repeat myself because some of you need this. Especially because every other post is about a demo, they never make demos, this isn't going to happen Bethesda doesn't need a demo they are best sellers and know it. And Bethesda is a best seller and they do know it so why wouldn't they do something to help some of there fans and put out the character creator out EALRY( See that, it doesn't say DEMO it says early, implying that you would receive FINISHED product before it was released.NO DEMO)
