Elder Scrolls Skyrim Dragon's language encyclopedia?

Post » Sat Dec 10, 2011 12:27 am

Well, I just wonder if there is anything like that? Since we are all kept shouting in Skyrim in Dragon's language but we know a little of them.

Or may be I am just the only one who did not know about this?

Any opinion or suggestion?

One more reason why the Official Guide is the single best thing you can get for Skyrim. Heaps of lore in it, including everything you ever wanted to know about Dragon Speech, and then some.

Not really :o It has an alphabet and lexicon (set of words), but it uses English syntax (grammar). No two real world languages can be translated word for word like that; in different real languages, words and phrases go in different orders.

I would have been impressed if they'd gone beyond the level of words to making up a sentence structure :/

Well, as I play thru a part of main quest and met Paarthurnax. He got something to say but he cannot say in human words so he explained into simply words.

So I guess that's why dragon language cannot be matched with english completely :P

IMO, I would like to learn it hehe not a bad idea but weird eh?
