Elder Scrolls V . . .

Skip through the damn lore part as fast as possible, then create a female Breton Magician, just like I did in Morrowind and Oblivion.

My Altmer mage will wake up with a huge bruise on his head and finds that he was just robbed, and thrown in the cargo hold of the ship, there is a storm outside and the crates and barrels start to shift violently from one side to the next, then he hears a huge crash like noise and the ship comes to a violent stop and everything starts flying around and water starts coming in, I swim through the huge gash that was ripped in the hull by a massive ice burg and try to reach the now near by shore.

The water is freezing however and I barely make it their alive, an old fisher man finds me on the shore and gets me back to his hut, when I come to he asks me what I'm doing here and what happened, and what do I do (character specifics) then after all that and some rest, I thank him for his help and go outside to loot some crates and stuff that washed on the beach from the destroyed ship, I also find some dead bodies, and the ones who robbed me were among them and I get some of my stuff and money back and I'm off to a new adventure.

either Ayla, a wood-elf that majors in many types of magic, stealth, and bow.
or Wakka, a pale orc (half-orc once the mod comes out, usually i pair with a breton) heavily skilled in the areas of heavy Armour, all types of magic, and short sword.
and i would just make my path in the game

Dark elf, alchemist/magic user/sword user... Err i mean a battlemage. Or a monk if they got h2h right.

The first thing i would do would be to ignore the main quest for a while though, unless it was one of those personal ones and not a "the world is in trouble help!" quests.

My character would be a Dunmer Spellsword that shares the same name as my username on here.

Why a Dunmer Spellsword in a land full of vikings? Because he's a cool guy. Eh kills daedra and doesn't afraid of anything.

After that, I'll probably do an Argonian or Khajiit Assassin and then a Nord Warrior.

My Altmers story would continue along his grand pigramige for knowladge and philandering. His lust for knowing and wealth will carry him to the ends of Nirn he must also ensure his bloodline grows into an even bigger family tree. He will probably commit a crime dabbling in the dark arts go to prison in the province that the next Elder Scrolls takes place in. Then some epic event will happen and then a new adventure begins...

Ask someone else to buy it and blindfold myself until they have put in the ps3 then take off the blindfold as the game starts. No spoilers. No reading anything. Play the game until I go blind.

I would make two Imperial characters, Krayvuun Desselius and Veronika Darksky, two Werewolves running around in Skyrim. But since its 200 years later, considering if it WAS 200 years later, I would make two characters that are supposobly their children....of course, Werewolves in the ES universe live for a long time(I dont know abot eternal, but Heart-Fang lived for generations). Anyways, the two Werewolf characters will hunt and have a living in the wilderness, do some quests and get gold to buy a house, then live in a reclusive lifestyle. Kinda like "The Wolfman" were John Talbot lives alone with his manservant. Strictly melee based, maces and marksmanship, swords as well.

I would make two vampire characters as well, but since I am a big fan of the Cyrodiilic vampires rather than the other clans, I dont think I would make one. Maybe for fun, but not a full playthrough. Unless they can wlak among men, walk during the day(Just like Oblivion).

Jimbabwe the Dunmer assassin/master poisoner.

I was laughing at all the people who use the same character through all the games. Then I realised that I do the same thing...

My best morrowind characters were a breton spearman and a nordic mage. The mage, especially, might return to his homeland and settle down.
My favorite oblivion character is a Ex-Moth Priest who was imprisoned for heretical views of the Aedra and Daedra. This character i never gave a name, and so he could be Hjolifur later in life. This character might return to Skyrim as well.

Redguard named Kamikaze is what I start out the first time through for all my TES games. The Nords will not know what hit them!

I would play my newest favorite character, Thodrin, a Nord scout ( I've used that name and a similar setup before, but only recently have I gotten into it) and just explore the world without any particular goals and see where I end up. I would also reserve J'sar, an Argonian thief, for more malicious questlines if I don't feel like dirtying Thodrins good name.

Picture this: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has just come out. You waited in line all night to get a copy, and once you got it, you rushed home and started it up. You start a new game and learn that it's been 200 years since the Oblivion Crisis, and now all the Provinces are in a state of turmoil, Skyrim in particular. Between the Empire's collaspe and the ongoing fighting between the City-states of Skyrim, chaos is rampant. It is in this chaotic scene in which you start, on a boat headed to Solitude. While on this ship, you get the chance to make your character. What kind of character do you create? (NOTE: THIS SITUATION IS ENTIRELY FICTIONAL, AND ONLY BASED OFF OF ASSUMPTIONS THAT I'VE HEARD AROUND THE FORUMS)

I would make my character a distant descendant of Broken-Scale (my character from MW and OB) named Shattered-Claw, an Argonian Mercenary. After years of Mercenary work, he decided to go to the province where his greatest ancestor went in his last years of life, and search for a clue to what happened to him.

So what about you guys?

But I'm not speculating anything, really. Just giving people a scenario, and asking them what they'd do.

I would play my two profiles. One as an Imperial. One as a Dunmer. I just hope the dunmer look like they did in Morrowind and the Imperials look likke the way they did in Oblivion.

Nothing is confirmed, not even if the big game they have been working on is ESV, but with everything that's been going on, (info in other threads), i could bet money it is

Okay, well, I'll probably have two characters:

#1- An Imperial who's a descendant of Gregreo Oscarus. Maybe this person has forgotten the legendary heroics of his/her forebearer and has gone to theivery and assassin, so he/she is a thief/assassin character. It's only when he/she learns of Gregreo's mighty deeds during the Oblivion Crisis (roleplaying, not ingame obviously), does he/she go out and settle the conflict that is the plot of TESV.

#2- A Nord. I like to play as a native of the setting the game is in, which is why I had Gregreo be an Imperial at all. His/her class and fighting style will be somewhat similar to Gregreo in that they're both warriors, but my Nord is just going to explore and pretend the main quest doesn't exist.
