Ok, I know what your thinking: Why would I want this game? I can play it all here on the forums.
Well, yeah, that much I will grant you. You can do just about everything in a forum RPG that you can do in a Tabletop RPG played with dice, pens, and paper. I grant you that. But for me, that style of game, while fun, for one thing, takes awhile, and for another, it has no real challenge. Which is why I have devised and made this game. I'm going to ward you now, I made this game in a little under a week. So, what I am really after right now are people who can maybe take this to their friends over skype, or friends in person. Play this game, figure it all out, and then come back here with as much feedback as you can manage. This game is not meant to perfectly emulate the elder scrolls video games, more, its meant to bring the world, and similar mechanics to your home or wherever you play these types of games.
--Features--
-Easy to understand skill system.
-In-depth back-story system that effects said skills.
-A bestiary of 75 monsters.
-39 pages of Elder scrolls history.
More will be added with time and feedback.
I post this now, after only about a week of work, because I've already got OVER 100 pages worth the stuff. In fact, I have: 186 pages. 14 pages of module, 77 pages of monsters, 39 pages of history, a couple pages worth the covers, and the rest are for the game itself. I made this all in about a week,
Credit where credit is due, I copy/pasted allot from the Imperial library and UESP for my descriptions and information. Mainly because I had no interest in spending a few months researching the history of the game world and its lore. What I know comes from the games and a few other things.
I ask politely that if you hold any interest, at least read the books. I want to make this all work. I want to make this all succeed. I am currently declaring this game in it's pre-alpha stages. If you hold no interest, tell me why. If you hate the concept, please, keep it to yourself. I want CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.
With all of that said, I will real quickly give a few credits:
Saadus: For helping me with the backstory system.
Leocedus: Same thing.
My father: Who helped be balance my monster manual.
Anyone who plays this: Even if you don't enjoy it, that will help me make it so that you do enjoy it.
