If (And I can't stress "if" enough) an Elder Scrolls movie were to be made, it should be a completely original story. They should not make a movie based specifically on one game. Hollywood has shown time after time that they are utterly incapable of maintaining the essence of a story (or game) when adapting it to film. Have you ever seen the
Mario Brothers movie? Utter garbage. What about the
Street Fighter movie? I nearly ripped out my own eyes and
ate them after seeing that atrocity.
If you read
The Bourne Identity,
The Bourne Supremacy and
The Bourne Ultimatum and then watch the films starring Matt Damon, you won't see any relation between the books and the films. All three kill characters that survive in the books while introducing characters that aren't in them, and the second and third films don't even take place in the right
countries.
Hollywood should
never, ever be trusted to make an Elder Scrolls movie.
I thought John Cena was a wrestler, not an actor...
I thought the same thing about
The Rock Dwayne Johnson. It seems Hollywood can't tell the difference.
