Elder Scrolls Or Wildstar

Greetings,

So. As the few remaining months are upon us until Elder Scrolls Online goes live. Which is fantastic! Anyways, Since of last year of coming across both MMO's I decided that after taking a really long break from WoW and trying out MOBA's and other various games that I preferred to play MMO's Moba's get really boring too me rather quickly and if I'm gonna be putting my time into one game I want it to be on one character that I can progress in. Please, keep in mind this is not a flame thread. Both mmo's have a sub, and I'm only really wanting to pay for one. And Warcraft isn't one of them..

I have always been the type where if my friends jump into a game I will follow, because having that connection already from a brand new game helps out instead of the being the lonely one spamming trade/all chat looking for a questing buddy. What is the problem, you might ask? Majority of my WoW friends have moved on or just quit pc games in general. So, I have one who just had a long chat with me earlier saying how epic ESO was going to be. He was looking for a realistic style. He seemed all for it. Which is awesome.. Then I got another one who is into Wildstar. Even in the closed beta, said he loves it. Always keeps you on your feet, it's bright and the world feels alive.

My flaws in ESO:

No world PvP

No arena system

Cannot see enemy factions if not in Cyrodiil

So, I'm wondering why other than being a Elder Scrolls fan what has pulled you in that Wildstar could not?

Thanks!

My reasons for playing ESO over Wildstar will be about the AvA, Roleplay and crafting. I also know and like the world of Elder Scrolls more than a wired sci-fi game that seems filled with gimicks to help it sell.

imo ESO will have far superior pvp to any other mmorpg out there. the combat system also seems really fun. the biggest draw is simply it is elder scrolls but since you want to know reasons besides that i would list these 3 things as my big reasons

1. AvAvA pvp. this is my favorite form of pvp in mmorpg

2. elder scrolls style combat.

3. a mmorpg with a story i care about. now this is speculation really at this point but i feel this may finally be the mmo where i care about the lore/story

GW2 had also great public when started, later on when played it simply got boring - and it is same with Wildstar - I just looked at game play and it is just a clone of GW2. The animations are just basic, the graphics is just a copy of GW2. It just has all good game could have, but only superficial and not immersive. It will be interesting for few weeks and later there will be nothing to play.

This ^^^^^

An as an Elder Scrolls fan, wildstar does not intrest me, .. But it will have it's fans and have it's place in the mmo world.. I can see a draw to Wildstar, for maybe wow players, and TOR players looking for something a bit different, but not that much dfferent..:)
