I doubt the Release date is going to stick as thats a Friday Release but I really could care less. They finally announced it about damn time too as it was the worst kept secret in the industry. ) is lore heavy. All those 'fans' who only ever played Oblivion can go and do obscene things to themselves. Morrowind and before fans want their franchise back!

Martin Septim was also called Dragonborn.

It's just a symbolic name, basically meaning "Agent of the Empire", since the symbol of the empire is a dragon.

And they wouldn't have called that character in the trailer a name AND said "him". Not even the Nerevarine was given a six.

I hate it when people say things like that about Oblivion. Are you implying that because Oblivion is my favourite Elder Scrolls game i'm not as much of a fan as you are?

Most likely. The dude in the trailer (who was he? I think I recognize the voice...) definitely said dragonborn, not dragon lord.

I was having a rubbish day til now. Effin awesome! That trailer is epic. I got a similar feeling from it that I got from Secret of Mana and Morrowind and both of those turned out to be game-changers. This is going to rawk and I feel it in me waters ( Kath n Kim voice ).

I'm a little annoyed at the release date. It strikes me as inappropriate and only done for a cheap marketing graphic 11-11-11.

Maybe it's blind ecstatic optimism on my part, but I think it will be. The whole feel of the trailer made it seem like it's goint to be focusing on thematic, lore-heavy things.

I don't think BGS was in any rush to produce this game. After 5 years, a couple extra months are meaningless really in regards to the release date. That tells me two things. One, I really don't think it will be delayed this time, they've had plenty of time to work on the game with little pressure. Two, this game will be amazing. Again, little pressure to meet a deadline, and plenty of time to work on the game, and more familiarity with the new system.
