I'm just going to point out that the Nerevarine went missing on an expedition to Skyrim, and Tiber Septim is called the Dragonborn. This tells me things. Dark whispering things.
I really hope we get a lot of lore related stuff.
Otherwise, I'm stoked! Was highly surprised by this. Actually I was over the Mass Effect forums telling how the trailer left me lukewarm and how I'm crossing my fingers for Bioware to actually write a decent story, when I saw the news. I am much, much more excited for Skyrim. But anyone noticed how two big RPG franchises announced their upcoming game on the very same event, whose main story is about huge, mean flying things trying to kill everyone? I mean, I watched ME3's trailers and was like; ah, the Reapers attack Earth, and then; so the dragons are attacking Tamriel? Strange.
Though personally, I hope Skyrim won't be as in the face epic as Oblivion. In a way, the trailer made me feel a Morrowind-type of mood. I don't know if its the cravings, the accent of the narrator and the overall... "ethnic" mood if you will. I really hope it will show in the story, that it won't be as much as finding a way to stop Oblivion in getting all over Tamriel, I hope for something a bit more subtle as in Morrowind. It was still about saving a province, but no one really felt any real danger, you had to prove yourself as the Nerevarine. For some reason I also felt the story will have to do with a prophecy, we'll see. Like I said, I sure do hope it will be more than what Oblivion offered us.
