I believe a game should be released for any system with the hardware capable of perfoming highly enough to run it smoothly............. I don't think though it will be released for mac.

I think it should be though

I don't see why they shouldn't have it on Mac. I prefer PC, but might as well put it on all capable platforms.

I don't know enough about Macs. Its a computer, better than consoles, so I dont really understand why many games are not released for Macs.

I'm a mac user and I hate it. I can't enjoy some of my favorite games and such because Macs don't support it, and games that do work on Macs aren't usually as good as their PC counterparts simply because they're ports. I don't get the elitism at all.

I believe it's because the mac OS makes it difficult to run games without significant modifications and with the mac user base being much smaller than PC it isn't finacially logical.......

Sure, if it's capable of running it then I don't see why not. I'm completely ignorant on the subject - would making it for Macs be the equivalent of making a port of a game for Xbox/PS3/PC?

Isnt it hard to play on a mac while you driving your prius wearing your sleek glasses wearing your hemp khakis and shaggy haircut while eating tofu and looking down your nose and being overly witty?

You can use BootCamp on Intel Macs only. On PowerPC's you have to use Virtual PC which is tremendously slower.

Keep in mind that if you're running a PowerPC, your mac is probably around 8+ years old.

If you own a Mac you aren't a gamer, and if you are a gamer who owns a Mac then you own either consoles or PCs to play your games. Apple sees the potential in the gaming market, the CASUAL gaming market with $2 titles. It does work, and it is a valid demographic, highly profitable, but is it something TES should be a part of? While I think that many a Mac user would enjoy Tamriel, the incredible hoops the developers would need to jump through aren't hardly worth it. The end users have more options, but even then they end up sacrificing just to play games. Anyone interested in TES needs to have the hardware that the game was meant for period. I prefer the gameplay of a console, but the mods and wonder of the PC so I always have done both (except Arena and Daggerfall since they were never console ports).

Macs are overpriced trendy pieces of garbage that are extremely limiting when it comes to what programs you can run on them. No one buying a PC for gaming should buy a Mac.
For a mac with the same specs as my comp I'd have to pay an extra grand or more.

Yes, but your PC doesn't have a glowing Apple on it.

And the ladies love Macs, they are the Mustangs of computers. :hubbahubba:

That is just a lie, Macs may be better for some things, but so is a PC.

Macs are seriously overpriced, you can get PC much cheaper.
Also, a PC is a more open platform, you can change your hardware as you please, don't think you can do that on a Mac without some restriction?
