So, this is something I'm planning on testing this weekand but wanted to see if anyone else already know about it.

Elemental drain (mutated from weakness to elements on the destruction staff) lowers your targets magic resist as well as restoring magicka whenever you do fire/lightning/cold damage to them.

now, if I'm a dragon knight with igneous weapons (morphed from molten weapons) that lets all my light and heavy attacks do fire damage, does this mean that I can effectively recharge my magicka just by spamming light attacks in between spell casts? has anyone tried this out?

Also, if there happens to be a weapon or weapon enchant that does elemental damage, would that proc the magicka restore as well?

I was actually wondering the same thing, especially since DK doesn't have many ways to restore magicka.

Generally, recovery << cost. If it gives you 2% of spell cost each attack, it would be too much.

It doesnt specify that you have to be using a destruction staff ability or attack, so I would say any form of elemental damage.

anyone know if using the basic staff attack counts and gives u magicka?

It was my plan to use this on my Templar Mage.

What level do you unlock that? I tend to be a very slow leveler, so just curious if I would actually be able to get to that point this weekend.
