I remember right before this game came out, i found out about it, and it seemed like it was going to be an awesome game. The style of game it is, with some interesting innovations made it appear it would be a blockbuster title, but they were basically forced to release it waaaaaayyy to early, and the forums were full of people complaining about how bug ridden it was, and how literally, incomplete it was(large parts of missions missing, skills/spells missing). I haven't read anything about it since, so I figured I'd ask here if anyone plays, and if so, has it improved much? The game has come down drastically in price, when it first came out, at Wal-Mart it was 49.99, now it's 29.99(so almost halff off), which makes it a possible purchase, but only if it's gotten some work.

Yes, it is way better now - the game has received some of the heaviest and most senseful patching of any game lately. Magic has been revamped the most, balance is much improved, and the game just runs better in terms of frames per second. I'd recommend it.
Also, they have Kael, creator of the Fall from Heaven mod for Civilization, working on this series now. ^_^
