Elf lifespan phases?

Post » Tue Oct 01, 2013 11:25 am

I have a question... Not pertaining to how long in total an elf's lifespan is, but the thresholds for life phases.

How old is puberty? How old is the onset of advlthood? How old is "middle-aged"? How old is "geriatric"?

I have an elf character in Skyrim, and I'm saying she's 50, or "young advlt" in elf years, but I'm not sure if that's accurate.

What elves do you mean?

Altmer can become 1000 years old, Dunmer around 500 years and Bosmer (i think) 200-300 years old.

I guess Dunmer are middle-aged when they are 50-100. The Dunmer in Interview with a Dark Elf says : "Well, I'm fifty, done my twenty years in the Service, and I'm in the prime of life. I expect another fifty good years, and then I'll be old, and slow, chatting with gaffers around the hearth for another twenty, thirty years."

That Queen/Princes of the Aldmeri Dominion or what ever she is supposed to be is technically a child with her 28 years, so...

That's why I asked , considering that apperently she had apperently done some adventuring , and from what we see of her she is not just sit in the palace type of ruler I am willing to assume that she is in elvish equivlent of being a teen, thats why I hope in game it will be reviled that she is just a symbolic/puppet ruler and some proper Altmers are pulling all the strings.

But going back to the topic I don't think we ever seen any senile or geriatric elf in series.

There's Nurelion... I also think one of the Telvanni mage-lords in Morrowind was also kinda not all there as well.

Okay... if young Ayrenn is considered a "wild teen", I guess 50 as "young advlt" is pretty accurate.
