Elipse Weather Effect

I currently use some vampire mods and I am starting to experiment with creating abilities for them.

I am currently thinking about something quite spectacular for an ancient vampire ability, the power to make the moon eclipse the sun.

I was wondering if this is possible?

I know that weather effects can be dynamically edited like with the Smite of Order mod but I am looking for the ability for one of the moons to be dragged in front of the sun.

Is this possible at all and if so what would be included with it?

I have not done too much experimenting with these large scale types of spells but I think it would make a brilliant one for vamps giving a very epic feel.

Anyone got any ideas?

Not possible. You might be able to fake it with a big object placed high up in the sun's way with a moon texture though.

Okay that sounds good, to do that would you have to script in a function to track the suns position based on the time of day before spawning the moon?
