Hello everyone, long time no see!

I apologize for the disruption lately. A database table storing user session information got corrupted some time ago and that prevented the site from loading (queries were failing and the errors stopped the rest of the page processing). As you can tell I don't visit there very often, I had no idea that things weren't working. So I fixed the table, you can log in once again and the site does load. No virus, just a simple mysql error. Back in November some joker did break in and add some bad links (very bad links) but I cleaned that up in early December and updated my Apache firewalls and security. Still, the hacks keep coming. My security logs average 600-800MBs per week with attempts. I should feel so honored that my little site gets so much attention.

Sorry once again. Also as an FYI, I don't have any plans to take the site down so you can use it as long as you wish. I am still maintaining my server which hosts elricm.com amongst other things. So while I may not be very proactive, the site will still be there for you.

That?s noble of you :trophy:! Nice to hear that everything works again, but bad with all the hacking attempts, are these automated attacks by infected computers or is there really some loser who tries to do you / your site damage? I have no idea how s.th. like this works, bear with me...
