i got my computer back!! :) finally can get back to work on rimmen, after i finish transferring over files to the new machine. The guy at the computer store was the biggest dope ive ever seen!!(no offense to any1) he lost all the paper work for it, lost his database with our name in it and didnt even know what he did to our computer! he didnt even know what computer was ours!!! its been sitting there for 4 days now, coulda had it then but the (explicit) lost all the stuff for. im surprised he didnt sell the thing well it was there. oh well its back now and i can get back to work on rimmens market :)

Question: How compatible will this be with the Unique Landscape: Bravil Barrowfields? I'm there right now and my map says I'm just north of Rimmen, so I got a bit concerned.

No problem with that. I'm an UL fan (although not of Barrowfield, sorry), and I've checked it while following the roads on Arthmodeus map. Rimmen is several cells south of the Bravil Barrowfields region, nothing overlaps. One of Arthmodeus roads from Rimmen to Orcrest is blocked by Barrowfields, but I think this road can be considered as abandoned. There's a better alternativ south of Rimmen. So we don't even need a patch.

I made a concept for a middle to lower class house; I think it could go into Rimmen as middle / working class homes.
What do you think?

It is possible that Rimmen has some "Imperial" elements, as for example the guards are human... so I think it's
safe to assume that the people living in Rimmen will either be Khajiit or Humans - and thus have "normal looking"
middle class buildings.

For the lower class houses I was planning something with a flat roof (as mentioned in the book) for the Khajiit.

To be honest, they're too much "imperial" for my taste...looks like Chorrol or Skingrad lowerhouses.

I think some oriental details are in order to make it seem more akaviri-like.

I'm not sure they'd fit Rimmen, but...

wow...

You should really expand that design, I don't think I've seen any cooler houses. Getting an Altdorf-ish feel from them (just a shame there's no really fitting areas in Cyrodiil) and that is definately an awesome grade!

That is definitely a cool design. It's gotta be used somewhere.

They're wonderfull, I hope they're released as a resource for other modders to use in their mods! Though I guess for Rimmen something a little more oriental is needed, but personally I think these are still good imho :)

Just wanted to post the same thing. Perhaps they would fit in Skingrad or Cheydinhall..

Thanks everyone! Maybe you're right, maybe they don't fit into Rimmen... I'll ask Iliana if she wants them for Riverhold.
And of course, they can be used as modder's resource as soon as they are released.
I think I'll create one or two more houses in the same style.

I agree, they look amazing, but don't exactly fit with the previous Rimmen house meshes you did.

Yes, I think they would look pretty good in Riverhold. But for Rimmen, they need to be more Oriental in appearance.

Sweet meshes, but like others have said, too Imperial.

If you tweaked them though to have more rounded barn like roofs and circular windows, then I think they might work just fine.
