Technical part of building a website is no problem for me, it's part of my real life job, so I'm more than used to it. Bit rusty on good visual design, had to use fixed 'corporate design' patterns for a way too long time

... need to refresh that part, gonna take another look on http://www.csszengarden.com for ideas ...
Don't think we need PHP or Flash, plain HTML will do well enough. Like Blackmarsh; their site looks great to me, nice look without overhead, and quick access to the infos.
Besides Weebly Google sites was already on my list, I'll check their interface too, and take whatever is easier to handle.
Edit: Started a Weebly site, they allow me to customize anything of the page, couldn't find this option in the google sites help. And I like how Weebly builds the website link. On Google sites your only a 'subfolder', Weebly puts your site name in front, that's much easier to type and to remember. Not published yet of course, need my tools at home to do banner and background graphics and such things.
