The mod has its roots in TES lore.

Do you need any help with lore-writing, letter and document writing, or dialogue? Take a look at my "The Scribe" thread.

Have you removed the borderregions in the .ini? You can do this in the file or get a mod for it.

Look at the first post of the topic, there are links to map mods.

Fair play, I didn't how clued up you were about modding game files.

The .ini file is a text file in your My Documents/My Games/Oblivion folder, called Oblivion.ini, that contains hardware usage preferences amongst other things. You need to open that, and search (Ctrl-F) for 'EnableBorderRegions'. It will be set to 1. Change it to 0, and this will allow you to cross the borders into Elsweyr.

Also, search for "Elsweyr Map" on TESNexus and you will find several maps that people have created for the mod. The Elven map, in my opinion, is the best.

Note that the current Elven Map doesn't have the southern parts of Elsweyr, hence my attempt to make such a map from scratch (well, the Elsweyr part).

There are some Roberts replacer files for this mod which Daemondarque created for this mod back in July. Its a separate download listed in the optional ones on TESNexus.

The optional Roberts' file for the armors are working fine.(installed them a while back) This is not armor/clothing issue. What i'm refering to is the Khajiit body texture. The Khajiit race is always problematic because the female texture uses the same folder as the male one and share the same filenames too. A fix was posted for this but only for the default Khajiit race called Male Body Replacer V4 Khajiit Texture Fix at the Nexus( http://thenexusforums.com/lofiversion/index.php/t101589.html ). The Roberts fix assigned the female Khajiit textures to an entire separate filename.

Somehow the game doesn't recognise the "characters/khajiit/f" I can rename the female textures to the male ones but that would only mess up the male textures ingame. It's the same problem now for your custom Khajiit races. This problem also occur not only for the khajiit body but for some clothing like the monk robe where you can only have one folder with the same file sharing for both six. It can only be solved by an .esp file like the Roberts' fix and since the whole Elsweyr is full of Khajiitees and most players don't use the vanilla body much anymore, i hope there can be a fix soon. :cold:

ps. i can post pics if you're curious. ;)

Yes I saw the screenshots, it is much better the southern coast is now factored in.

A small teaser: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l243/Kyoparadox/cyrodiil_elsweyr_redux.jpg?t=1261825543 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l243/Kyoparadox/cyrodiil_elsweyr_redux_2.jpg?t=1261825544 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l243/Kyoparadox/cyrodiil_elsweyr_redux_v2.jpg?t=1261825545 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l243/Kyoparadox/cyrodiil_elsweyr_redux_v3.jpg?t=1261825545 http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l243/Kyoparadox/cyrodiil_elsweyr_redux_v4.jpg?t=1261825546. :) As you can see it is nearing completion, I'm currently doing the Tenmar Forest region and then it's just the final blending of all the text.

Is there any way I could convince you to add Topal Island? :D

Anyone planning to add COBLness to Elsweyr, I tried adding the luggage to the two active guild halls I remember after using "ESMify Self" on Elsweyr and setting it and COBL and obviously Oblivion as the masters. but TESCS Crashed when I tried to save (on a side note I was using the OBSEd version of the TESCS if that had any effect.)

Move an existing tree somewhere in Cyrodiil.

I know this sounds odd, but try it :)!

The new map is looking great! Its really nice to see all the hills and mountains marked in.

I could always do with some more books. Could you send me an example of a book to do with khajiit or Elsweyr?

The Roberts male replacement files included with this mod only provide textures for the new khajiit races.

I do not change the default khajiit race at all, so any problems with those comes down to the body mods you are using. A female body mod needs to change the foot texture address for the khajiit female race, so it should come with an esp.

I also don't have any replacement textures for hgec for the new khajiit races in the mod, nor can any be provided. Sorry.

I might be able to do that, but such additions come after the main map. Then I'll be making combos and variations for the more popular landmap/city additions.

The new map is looking great! Its really nice to see all the hills and mountains marked in.
I thought so too, although I'm not very happy with Verkarth Hills. I'm either gonna redo then or move the text a bit, right now it's just too hard to read it. The thing I'm most proud of is Lynmount, after making the mountain I added the text and it fit perfectly. :)

Anyways, I wanted a bit of advice on the eastern part of Tenmar Forest (on http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/24044-1-1243276606.jpg, the red/black part south of Corinthe). The rest of the Tenmar Forest is relatively easy because it is very forested, but I'm unsure as to how the former part should look. My initial thought was making it look a bit like Blackwood with a transitions into The Colovian Highlands/The Golden Coast (tinted more red-ish/orange-ish). Do you have any suggestions on this (with perhaps references to the Cyrodiil Elven Map)? I'd really like to make it as good as possible, after all, that's what your mod deserves. :)

P.S. I'm checking the Region Editor for better references to where a region ends or starts. That's how I found that the Saimisil Savannah is actually quite big. :o

P.P.S. About the road that leads from Skingrad to Dune, since it crosses into Valenwood; do you edit that section of land or is the road purely decorative with regards to the map?

I redid the Orcrest towers so they look like http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z133/mr_siika/Elsweyr/orcrestNewTowers.jpgnow.
I think they look more "orcish" now, what do you think?

They look very good, but define "orcish". They certainly look more "Warcraft Orcish" but that's not necessarily the same thing as "TES Orcish" (though it might be!). Is there even any concept art from Beth for Orc-style architecture?

Well, they also look Heroes of Might and Magic Orcish.
Besides, it's just the theme that fits with a more savage kind of people in a desert envoirnment, I think.:)

Seems to have worked though it's taking a bit for it to save.

Well it doesn't crash when i try to save, but it doesn't save at all, it just sits there saying "saving" How long on average does it take for stuff to save?

Nevermind finally got it to save, wonder if I'll always have to move back to a vanilla cell before saving.

Hey, my map is really screwed up lol. I downloaded one from TesNexus.
In my map, the locations and the place where they are supposed to be are not at the same spot.
There is nothing at the Imperial City, but, the icons to travel there and between Bruma and Chorrol on the edge of the map. And I cannot scroll south enough to see Bravil or Leyawiin, not to mention I cannot see Elsweyr. Did I do something wrong? If so, can you tell me how to fix it?
Lmk please
Thanks.
