Will the huts in the tribal camp near Dune (can't recall the name) eventually be interiors instead of just containers?

Iliana, when you created the LOD for the missing quad beyond the mountain near Corinthe, did you use a heightmap/land mesh to generate the LOD, or some other method? If there is actually landscape data for that missing quad, I was wondering if I could have a copy to... play with, if you know what I mean ;) As of late I have felt somewhat 'inspired'.

I'm just using the standard mod. But I think something may have happened to my computer. My framerates have decreased by about 15 everywhere.
EDIT: Weird...after disabling Streamsight my framerate shot back up again. I thought it was supposed to increase it? Oh well, I'm not complaining. I'm gonna go check out Elsweyr again.
EDIT2: Corinthe and Riverhold are no different. Facing the gate in Orcrest I have good framerates again, but towards the market they are still pretty bad.

I don't know anything about Streamline, so I really can't help you there. It sounds like your fps problem is pretty much everywhere.

Are these new ones going into the main download or are they staying optional?

Optional. I prefer not to have minor locations in the lod myself, just the cities. But they are useful for RAEVWD and people who want the scenery to look busier.

Framerate issues in Orcrest are likely from the high polygon counts on those trees there.

Although of all the towns no one has ever mentioned any fps problems with Orcrest before.

Will the huts in the tribal camp near Dune (can't recall the name) eventually be interiors instead of just containers?

Possibly, although I have a huge backlog of interiors to do so its not high on my list. I also don't have any interior mesh for those, which I set them up with container doors instead. I guess I'd also need some tribal stuff to decorate them with as well. Standard oblivion furniture would look a bit odd.

I just used the vanilla LOD mesh file for the quad and built up a small part of the land to match it -- mainly the big mountain and land north-west of Corinthe. Corinthe's city wall actually marks the western edge of the actual in-game terrain. Much further out I just added in some flat terrain for retexturing purposes.
So the quad's texture is new but the lod mesh is the vanilla one.

Here is the new version of the mod. I'll split it up into parts and upload it to TESNexus tomorrow.

This Megaupload package contains everything to date with any old, obsolete files removed. The esp has been cleaned and undelete/disable refs run on it. Any miscellaneous pieces floating around in this thread can be ignored because they've all now been incorporated.

Hi Iliana! I have downloaded the mod from Nexus some time ago, but haven't installed it yet. I am downloading version 2 right now.
Do I need to install older version first or can I delete older files and install only this new file that I'm downloading right now?

It says the file is currently unavailable ... Does that mean Everyone is trying to download it!
Edit: Ah there it is ... Downloading at 239 bytes a second ... Ouch.

Anequina Optional Files clarification:

I've amassed a number of optional files for Elsweyr-Anequina version 1. Could you tell me which are definitely no longer needed and which are still valid options for use with version 2?

1.) ElsweyrOrcrestHighTextureSizeFix.rar (Sept 2009, Iliana).
So far as I know, this is the oldest of my optional Elsweyr files still in use. It is part of the Sep 09 Optional download package available at TES Nexus.

2.) AnequinaJanExtraTexture.rar (Jan 2010, Iliana). Are these fixes incorporated in version 2?

3.) AnequinaCreatureTextureFixes.7z (Jan 2010, Arthmoor). More recent fixes. Are these incorporated in version 2? If not, are they a valid add-on?

4.) spider.7z (Jan 2010, ??????). This came with no readme. Can't recall if it's by Iliana or Arthmoor. In either case, is it needed with version 2?

5.) ElsweyrLandscapeLOD-25023.rar (Iliana?) No readme. Isn't this a special set of files to be used only if another mod overwrites Elsweyr's already existent landscape LODs? Still valid?

6.) RAEVWD_Elsweyr_Anequina-20053.7z (Jan 2010, Arthmoor) Will this be okay to use with the new Elsweyr, or is an updated version needed?

7.) AnequinaFARUpdatesJan2010.7z (Arthmoor) I never got around to installing this. As I recall, it's an update to Arthmoor's original Elsweyr RAEVWD. I assume that if the basic RAEVWD is still valid, this is too?

Thanks in advance!

Streamline is meant to improve FPS. But if you don't get the settings just right, then it can indeed have an adverse affect such as what you experienced. Follow the readme and install instructions carefully, and you should be able to improve FPS when using Streamsight.

I've followed all the readmes very carefully, have matched up all the numbers in both Streamline's .ini and Oblivion's .ini. But I'll take another look. I really could use a few more fps. 23 ain't enough.

And I'm trying to download the megaupload file but it's telling me it's unavailable. Anyone else getting this?

The RAEVWD package has *NOT* been updated yet as I was waiting on final confirmation of the next update, and I need to update the main RAEVWD package too. Nexus has been a punkass lately about uploads for me though, so I can't even guarantee I'll be able to get that one updated. So for now don't use #6 since much of it is superceded by today's Elsweyr update.

#7 should already be in the new update as those were all fixes for existing LODs in the main package. They won't be in RAEVWD anymore.

23 fps is plenty, I honestly don't know why people think that's so terrible. I see 23 and the game runs just fine. OSR caps to 30, so I don't get it. Oblivion wasn't built to be a 60+ fps shooter game.

I'm downloading the megaupload file now, but it's painfully slow. Perhaps we're all saturating their bandwidth :)

That's in some areas in Cyrodiil. Elsweyr is worse. I'm uploading some pictures showing my framerates in different areas right now. I didn't take one everywhere, but they get the point across. Again, I really don't want to sound like I'm complaining. This is by far my favorite mod, and I'd be happy playing it at a constant 15fps. I'm just wondering if there was anything I could do to increase this.

And the file is still unavailable...:(

EDIT: YES! It's downloading. :D

Those results all seem typical of what was happening without the optimized buildings, especially in Corinthe. The V2 mod download should fix all of that since those optimizations are there and you won't have to wonder if you installed one of the updates.

FPS issues in Orcrest may still exist, I know the issue with those trees has been mentioned on a few occasions but I don't think it's going to be solvable without turning them into speedtrees, which I'm not sure anyone here has access to. It would be worth much to get the trees all converted since the billboard trees operate with a fraction of the polygons and would also be able to sway in the breeze.

Great! I can't wait...7 minutes to go. I've made an omod of V1, and that's what I'll be doing with this one. Would everything work fine if I just deactivated the first one and then created a V2 omod?

I don't use OMODs, so as long as "deactivating" means the files it put there will be removed, then yes.

With BAIN, I just told it to uninstall, and it did so, leaving behind the landscape LOD files I didn't want removed.

OK. I guess I'll just try it and see what happens then.

OK, finished downloading the mod and checking it out a bit. Great job on everything. It's great to see all those doors actually leading somewhere. Unfortunately, I still get framerates under 10 in cities, and I'm finding it really hard to get around them. Lowering my settings didn't even help much. What does everyone else get?

Is the mega upload bain optomized ... or is this where the .BCF files might come in handy to convert the Archive into a BAIN optimized installation? V1 for me is currently and Omod as I tried the awesomeness of BAIN yet.

Oh! and another question, Did the changes to the Temple of Two Moons end up in this update? cause I'm wondering how it'll effect that Aquenia Manor Add-on.

Hi Iliana! I have downloaded the mod from Nexus some time ago, but haven't installed it yet. I am downloading version 2 right now.
Do I need to install older version first or can I delete older files and install only this new file that I'm downloading right now?

Yes, this replaces all the old stuff on Nexus. The only additional thing would be the Roberts Male files on Nexus if you use that and patches with other mods.

Anequina Optional Files clarification:Thanks in advance!
-Decrepit

All those files are obsolete. The only one you need is V2 of the mod.
Arthmoor needs some time to redo the RAEVWD files though.

That shouldn't be the case. I can run it much faster than that on my very old computer. You should probably check if you are having problems on the Anvil docks and IC waterfront, since those areas are just about as busy as my cities.

Two Moon Temple is still the same for the time being. The manor esp does need a bit of clean-up though since TES4edit says it edits quite a few more cells in Elsweyr than it should. I know Reaper is working on an update for it though.

That's exactly what I thought, and ironically, the waterfront and docks, along with about half of Leyawiin, are exactly where I've been having the most trouble, yet not nearly as much as in Corinthe and Dune. <_<

I have absolutely no idea what's wrong.

EDIT: It's not just the markets of Corinthe. I have a lot of trouble in the alleys and many interiors as well...
