Ew, another thread has reached old age. I think its gonna get put down very soon.
Err, don't worry; I know what I'm doing with particle-based creatures! The http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll61/Revanchism/WilloftheWisps/VatteLysFinal20.jpg is no problem, http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/ll61/Revanchism/WilloftheWisps/MassVirvatulis3.jpg are achievable, the major issue/difficulty would be getting rotation effect right on something so tall and thin. I can do it, I'm sure, but it's a right pain to get that kind of stuff to work nicely. That's why the big cloud would be so much easier than the tall column.
I'll have a go once I finish the major stuff for Diverse Wisps, so it'll be a little while, but I'll be sure to get it done.

That will be amazing! I could do with some of your other wisps for a quest as well. I'm looking for some to represent the spirits of the four winds -- the chilly north, fiery west, pestilent east, and stormy south.
This is very off topic but those Will-o-the-wisps almost make me not want to remove them from my game, almost. For some reason in my game a single wisp is able to genocide an entire town. But those wisps look good, I'd love to see some of your work included in Elsweyr.
Wisps are immune to regular weapons. And townsfolk only carry junk!
Good news! I know it's been awhile since I last posted, but I finally got back down to Orcrest to check my "crash on attempted entry to the Hunter's Guild" problem. Since then, I have reverted back to OBSE 17 and reorganized my load order; this time I got in just fine. I found I was missing some textures on the tsaesci (looks like the cuirass), but I think I got it. Now I just have to get some armor for Saimaiq.

That would be it. NPCs don't like it if you strip them of their skins.

You really do lose alot of stuff, don't you!?
just got SI and stuff, so i finally met the dependencies to install this. on my latest file, i've actually spent more time in Elsweyr then i have in Cyrodiil! svcks that Dune is incomplete though, i nearly got mauled to death and my travelling party (i also use Talky Toaster's companion mod) all died on the way there after a clash with some tribals i just barely escaped on the journey there for some much-needed supplies. of course, i doubt this mod was made with level 2 characters in mind.
Haha. Yeah lots of people have done that. "Hey look, there's a friendly looking village." Only to be set on by a bunch of khajiit savages!
On voice-acting: You know how Uglulyx is working on an unofficial add-on quest to Elsweyr, we could do it like that. If it worked that way, Illiana could devote her work all to the quests and other things of Elsweyr, the fans and users could try to enhance the experience with dialogue. Hell, Elsweyr is big, we could even start an unofficial add-ons group to develop additional stuff, making a modded Elsweyr as deep as a modded Cyrodiil, without taking any of Illiana's time. Plus, that would make it be optional. I know, kinda "Pie-in-the-Sky", but it'd be awesome.
EDIT: Eeek! Giant freaking Tigers! Down by the town on the coast, forget what its called, Ruin and I ran into one of the Tigers. (The proper name escapes me) Yeah, me being level 3, it didn't turn out well.
Leaving the town and moving into the forest, early on we were waylaid by some cultists, who roughed Ruin up a bit, but we were able to scraqe by. After fighting off a few Clanfears, we happened upon a Tiger. I approached it, not sure if it was friendly, when it leaped over my head and batted Ruin to the side in one blow. Seeing that power, the only escape was to run. Beckoning Ruin we sped into the water, narrowly escaping the clutches of death.
I love it when other people add other stuff to the mod. Like Ugulyx is doing with this quest, and Yian and others did with map, and Arthmoor with RAEVWD. My page on TESNexus is filled with all sorts of links now.
That Senche-Tiger likes eating PCs. He's gobbled up quite a few!
Since I can't add a "you can't go this way, turn back" warning with the borders off, I stuck him there on the very edge of nowhere instead.
