Seriously, I have a frozen quest now because Some idiot murdered my quest NPC in the shrine of Talos.

Bethesda, I don't want to create a new game and HOPE this doesn't happen again. WTF?! So many hours were put into this save file and I'm getting my first bugs, and they do impact the game.

If you just killed N, the quest marker should tell you to go to the shrine, where you'll find Eltrys dead. He's supposed to be killed by the guards.

(BTW, my housemate had the problem with that quest in which he finished it and when he left and popped his head into the Temple of Talos, the guards were still there, went aggro and made the rest of the town guards turn aggro. Was a pain to fix that.)

Check the bug fixes on the wiki for the Forsworn conspiracy. For some reason I can't link it :/ . They may work, but it's not certain.

Try activating his body. If that doesn't get the guards' attention try leaving the area and returning. You are supposed to find him dead, and then the guards arrest you.

Ahh okay. Is there some way to tell that? I hardly ever read General--I know it's marked with an arrow over there, but that doesn't help since I'm never there.

I have so many saves, but only maybe 2 or 3 I'd be willing to go back to, because a good majority of them are worth hours of playtime before this moment.
