There are versions available for every possible combination of the above mods! (That's 255 in total over the eight pages! With more to come.)

The files only include the map file itself (.dds files, in all three sizes) As a result it is advised that you install http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3002 for the complimentary icons as well (or the recommended marker mod below.)

*Some sets of these mods include Stirk (Complilation 2, 4, 6 and 8) which is located beyond the standard map boundaries, therefore Require an extra .esp (not included) to adjust the map and icon placements. Installing http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26329 (or similar) is therefore strongly recommended.

Key for File names
Stirk = Stirk
Bart = Bartholm
Dunk = Castle Dunkerlore
Elsweyr = Elsweyr the Deserts of Anequina
Ley = Leyawiin Reborn
NRB = New Roads and Bridges Revised
Sutch = Dragon Captions - The Imperial City of Sutch Reborn
WR = West Roads.

Extra recommended map mod:

Updates from previous Elven Map versions (below):
New Roads and Bridges: Modified to version 4.5.5 (Bridge South from IC moved.)
West Roads: Modified to version 1.3 (Roads travels wider around Kvatch.)

Hi, Long time lurker first time poster (Figured I'd need some help at some point with my next vernture into installing several large overhaul mods).

Anyway, I dont yet have the GOTY or SI exp (going to get of steam once Iv collected the mods I want to use after playing the origional game) but I cant seem to find a map that supports The Vile Lair instead of Castle Dunkerlore as the inhabit the same map area (and this incompatable) do you have any plans to release a version with Vile Lair support ?

You scared me there for a second there, because I have both mods.
With version 1.1.1 of Castle Dunkerlore, the two mods are compatible. :) (I checked the linked Castle Dunkerlore page.)
And I don't think Vile Lair affects the world enough to warrant a map change. So if you want a map for your game with Vile Lair but not Castle Dunkerlore; just pick one that doesn't change that area. Such as any of mine without "Dunk" in the name.

Ahhh I must've been had an old version and theres a file on TESNexus that entirely moves the castle which only compounded my thoughts. Thanks for clearing this up, so glad I wont need to choose between the 2 now.

Note to all:
I have updated the Opening Post to include the two new collections, totalling four (making the thread title misleading now - oh well .:lol: )

So. Even though I'm not a fan of the Elven map, if a combo 2 map existed with Leyawiin Reborn instead I'd be pretty happy. :)

Though I bet the map people are going to get tired of seeing road changes. NRB4 4.5.5 is going to have a couple :P

That's a second call for Leyawiin Reborn (and the first wanted one within combo 3.) So okay then (I have just made the model, so all I have to do now is add it to 128 maps!)

Though I bet the map people are going to get tired of seeing road changes. NRB4 4.5.5 is going to have a couple :P

:shocking: As far as I know, I'm the only one who has even caught up to 4.54 (the very reason I started this 'little' project.)
But that's okay, it's the way of these things after all.
Only now I find myself both looking forward to, and dreading, that update :lol:

Edited the OP once again:
The start of adding Leyawiin Reborn to the set.

Sorry Arthmoor, not combo 2 just yet - I will get on to that tomorrow, so within 24 hours (hopefully.)

Well actually it seems you've been doing some edits, so for me Combo 4 with OCLR in it would be perfect. I don't have Sutch or Dunkenlore, but those being on the map wouldn't bother me.

Combo 4 eh? No problem, I am going through adding to all four - thus every single possible combination.
That will be a total of 255 maps! - This exponential growth will be the death of me :lol:
One added mod equals a doubling in the number!! (Because I am a bit of a maths nerd; the number of maps required = 2n-1, where n is the number of mods included (and the minus one is simply because I have not included the base 'vanilla' Elven Map ;) )

So your particular combination will be included as well, although it will be Compilation 8 - got a couple more to get there, no need to compromise by having those you don't really want.

What is the order of installation of these maps?

I have the following:

- Elven Map Redux
- Elven Map Redux SI
- Combination 4 (I use Sutch, Bartholm and Stirk)
- Map Marker Overhaul
- New Roads & Bridges 4.54
- Western Roads

The way I have it installed, the world map is a low resolution map, and all the icons (from Elven Map Redux and Map Marker Overhaul) are off their position!

I would really appreciate it if someone could post the order of installation of maps - I use OBMM, and have created OMODs of all these above listed mods. Thanks!

Sugested installation order:

1. Merged Maps - You just need the .esp file (You NEED this, or a similar .esp file, in order to display any larger Stirk map.)
2. Elven Map Redux
3. Map Marker Overhaul. (you really only need one of these two, MMO does everything EMR would do here - even has the same icons as an option.)
4. Combination 4 map.
____________________________________________

The others you asked about:
- Elven Map Redux SI
- New Roads & Bridges 4.54
- Western Roads
None of these make any difference, as they don't touch the main map.

I would suggest that you use the Stirk_Bartholm_NRB_Sutch_WR file (For displaying Stirk, Bartholm, New Roads and Bridges and West Roads.)

If I don't intend to use Stirk, do I need the merged maps plugin?

EDIT: from the OP I guess I don't, but clarification would be lovely :D

All the icons are off their position.

I'm using:

Merged Maps - Elsweyr and Stirk
Map Marker Overhaul - ESPs and Elven Icons
Compliation 2 - Stirk,Dunk,Elsweyr,NRB,WR

All icons are moved to left, anvil dock icon on the ocean etc.

What can i do about that? Thanks!

You are correct.
Merged Maps shifts the map and icons to fit larger maps, This is only required for the maps with Stirk.
(In fact with the other maps it would only mess the map and icons all up.)

In short;
USE Merged Maps with maps from
Compilation 2,4,6 and 8

DO NOT use Merged Maps with mods from
Compilation 1,3,5 and 7

Thanks Vargr for responding on the order of installation of maps.

Does the correct order of installation solve the issue where map resolution is smaller, therefore icons are misplaced? I think that is because Stirk is added to the map, making it larger, but the icons still stay at the same place, making them off their position. I have the same issue as Azcemis above at the moment (haven't chnaged the order of installation yet), and wanted to see if there was a solution. Will installing Merged Maps (only ESP) solve that?

Also, is there a recommended load order for the maps, or it doesn't matter once they are installed in order - should I go with what BOSS tells me (which might not be correct)?

Hate to have to point this out, but on the Combo 8 map image on Nexus (and others too?) You have "Rimmon" and "Rivenhold". That should be "Rimmen" and "Riverhold" instead.

Also:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/download.php?id=59418 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/download.php?id=59417 are both listed as having Leyawiin Reborn, however neither image in those files actually does. Minor point, but it should probably be fixed.
