Ok so here is a question for everyone feel free to answer and post your opinion

I think if elves were real these things would happen keep in mind these elves would be like tolkien elves except they would live only slightly longer than humans and they would be of smaller stature and have elf ears and would have their own religions and languages yet they will understand mathematics and science (universal languages)

? First of all seeing how humans treat people of the same race just diffrent color or creed , I think elves would be persecuted and put into grey quarters in our major cities
? Secondly I think world religions would be thrown into chaos as people try to confirm "lost books" which tell of god creating elves
?thirdly I think people would see if we could reproduce with elves (this is enivatable)
? New religions would pop up

Those are my points please post your opinion or criticisms

Also keep in mind they would appear slowly like mutants in the modern times in the X-men comics

I think it's more likely we humans would be persecuted and segregated, disadvantaged, socially excluded etc, we'd live as second class citizens in slums and ghettos. The elves would be in power, they are all the traits of dominant (and oppressive) human cultures magnified.

But there would be more of us and less of them it would be easy to set up a slum and just funnel them all in there remember this is our world how it is today so no magic and no immortality say they just lived maybe to 120 and we live to ( if we are are lucky ) 80 or so
