i was just wondering what i can do with all those embalming tools i find troughout Skyrim...

They adds feel to the world, seeing a corpse on a table with embalming tools next to it is more intresting than a normal corpse on a table

Collect them and the cloth rolls, so if Lydia ever dies you can embalm her body and turn her into a draugh.

hehe.. This is a Bethesda open world game. They are always filled with little items that have no purpose but to add to atmospheric clutter, make a very tiny amount of coin if you want to bother hauling them back to town and annoy OCD collector type people.

*starts to neatly organize all the tools on a workbench* Hey, how about a better item manipulation tool anyway?

There some mods out there that use them for things such as crafting materials, but with the standard game, there is no use for them.

*Then again, this is for right now, we also thought the same things for the paint brushes in Oblivion *
