[RELZ] Emma's highelf headpack 2

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 5:46 pm

Hi everone!

I have been away from these boards for a while, and spent quite a lot of time in hospital with my daughter. Meanwhile, I have been putting together a pack of highelf faces, all based on the meshes that Robert did for Children of Morrowind. Some of the female ones are the oldest looking teenagers that I originally made for CoM, and 1-2 others are used by mothers and pregnant ladies ini CoM. The rest are new. All the male faces are new.

Hope you can have some use for them!

If you have received this mod from any other source it may not be the latest version!!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This mod includes 48 playable highelf faces, 12 male and 36 female (screenshots are included). No hair is included. Most of the hairs in the screenshots are from Westly's lovely Corean Hairs.

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files directory.

This plugin will not invalidate your old saved games. If you save
your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error messages
when you reload the saved game without the plugin. But you will be
able to continue on with the original game.

-------------------------------------------

Changing the Face of an Existing Character

-------------------------------------------

To change the face of your existing character without starting a new game,
open the console and type "enableracemenu". Choose your new face and hair.
Changing your race will cause temporary problems that should resolve
themselves when you reload. Always save your game first in case of
unpredictable errors and save afterwards in a new file.

Enableracemenu will only work once. If you want to change your face again
you must first exit Morrowind and reload your game.

---------------------------------------------

Credits & Usage

---------------------------------------------

The faces are all based on meshes by Robert, http://lovkullen.net/Emma/Robert.htm.

I have simply retextured.

Some of the faces may include reworked "bits" of Roberts original teenage faces.

I want to thank Robert for his excellent work and for letting us modders use it as a base for our work.I also want to thank all the other face makers, modellers and texturers, for their inspiration.

My very special thanks also to those two who especially encouraged me to start doing faces: MotokiMO, who gave me lots of valuable suggestions and encouraging feedback when I started out on my first headpacks. Grumpy, bless his memory, who gave me the idea to start making faces and who encouraged me and inspired me to continue.

-------------------------

Useage

-------------------------

You may use these heads in your mods without asking for further permission. If you should decide to rework the textures, I however want you to rename texture and mesh in order to avoid overwriting issues.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I've always had a special fondness for the altmers, but never liked their faces very much, i.e. the original ones. Although many headpacks for various races have been done over the years, it seems there aren'tthat many altmer heads (at least not that I have see). So therefor it was fun to put together this pack.

That's true. It seems most do either Breton females or Dunmer. Thanks for sharing this with us. Any chance on other new head packs coming out in the future? :D

Yes, I actually have quite a lot of not released faces on my harddrive, and I'm intending to sort them and release them, possibly make a few new as well. Now, many of them are of course breton or dunmer ;) but I know there are some redguards, too. Many of them are female, though, as it started with that I wanted to make some new unique faces for the pregnant women in Children of Morrowind... and once I got started, I just kept on.. :embarrass: So I probably try and do at least some more male before I release another package.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind another Dunmer female pack. The one I'm using has some faces I'm not impressed with and wouldn't mind replacing them. That and I may have need of new Dunmer faces here sometime in the future. ;)

thank you :). Well, she is relatively all right, but we currently have to go to hospital quite often in order to treat her for a condition that is not dangerous but persistant.

Yep. I'm already using three in my companion mod with a slightly darkned fourth to be included in a future update. I'm contemplating another quest and I'll need additonal NPCs should I implement it.
